What could go wrong with my street party?
Injuries and accidents are top of the list when considering what can go wrong with your street party. When the drinks are flowing, trips on loose cables or uneven ground can easily happen but if this resulted in serious injury who would be liable? Plus, there is always the risk of food poisoning at outdoor events in the summer, as refrigeration is often limited and food is left out for long periods of time.
Damage to property can result in serious financial losses if the right insurance is not in place. For example, a fence could be broken or an outdoor sound system could be damaged. But you might also be a victim of theft. If your house is left unattended then this is an ideal opportunity for criminals to take advantage of the situation.
