Land Owner's Liability insurance
What is Land Owner’s Liability insurance?
Land Owners Liability Insurance covers the owner of land or property for their legal liability for injury or damage to others. For example, it could cover you for a claim made by a visitor (or trespasser) injuring themselves whilst on your land or property.
If you own a commercial building, then it is normally possible to include property owner’s liability on a buildings insurance policy, including liability for the surrounding land and access roads, saving you from seeking individual or separate land insurance. Likewise, if you own a farm, you can include land liability insurance on your farm policy.
What types of land can be covered?
All types of land can be covered, such as:

Fields

Moorland

Woodland

Lakes

Brownfield sites

Watercourses

Sports fields

Roads

Pasture

Building sites

Development land
